We have amazing indoor facilities and technology available at Belton Park Golf Club near Grantham, plus a highly experienced and qualified team who will make sure we achieve an accurate fitting every time.

SBG can custom fit all brands and types of golf club, including irons, wedges, putters, drivers and fairway woods. The fitting session itself doesn't need to be more than 30-40 minutes, and it involves measuring lots of aspects of your physicality and golf swing, and then creating the perfect club tailored just for you.

If you're thinking of buying off-the-shelf golf clubs such as Titleist, Ping, TaylorMade, Callaway, Mizuno or Srixon, we strongly advise you make the most of your investment and get them properly custom fitted. A golfer might get lucky with an off-the-shelf set, but in the vast majority of cases the clubs will be ill-suited to their personal characteristics such as their height, weight and strength. This in turn causes incorrect posture, irregular swing planes, and ultimately a more inconsistent golf game.

During custom fitting sessions we only use premium golf balls. If you regularly play Titliest PROV1, Srixon AD333 or Taylormade TP5 then that’s what we'll use, and we will offer helpful advice if we think there is a more suitable option.

Shay Brennan is the Head Professional at Belton Park Golf Club in Lincolnshire and a fully qualified 'Advanced Professional of The Professional Golfers' Association (PGA) Member' working towards Master Status. Along with the team at Belton Park, Shay offers the leading teaching facilities and coaching in the region.

Qualified and experienced

Shay is one of the leading PGA coaches in the UK, currently at Advanced level and working towards Master Professional status. He has worked with some of the UK's best amateur golfers, and developed award winning coaching programmes for junior golfers. Shay has been a coach for the BB&O County Golf Union, Head Coach for the Oxfordshire Girl's Team, and Girls Development Coach for Northamptonshire Golf Union.
